In this detached house located in Bebek, significant renovations were required. Although the building was not under historical protection, preserving its character and historical features was our top priority during the process. Designed to suit the dynamic and fast-paced lifestyle of two young businessmen, this home office project involved structural interventions as well as reorganizing the bedrooms on the lower floor into more functional and spacious areas. By activating natural light and garden access, we enhanced the livability of the space.
The upstairs open kitchen living room was designed as a multifunctional space for relaxation, friendly gatherings, and daily work. While renewing the old stair railings, we brightened naturally dark areas of the house with artificial lighting and material choices to make them inviting. However, as a deliberate design principle, we left some areas slightly dim to create a \u201cman cave\u201d atmosphere.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
